The noiseform fisch questline is a late-game rod progression route centered on the Mysterious Shadow in the Shady Bazaar. It combines rare mutation catches, storm conditions, a special fishing pool, an underwater-style obstacle route, and a final delivery objective. Because several catches require specific mutations, preparation matters more than simply reaching the quest NPC.

Noiseform is designed as a high-end reward. Its listed stats include 125% Lure Speed, 290% Luck, 65% Resilience, +22% Progress Speed, and infinite maximum weight. Its durability is listed as 0, which means it cannot fish in Lava, Noxious Fluid, or Brine.

The quest begins inside the Shady Bazaar. Find the balcony at the far end of the building, close to the Bait Dealer, and look for the Mysterious Shadow. The NPC does not immediately provide the full route under ordinary weather conditions.

During a Cursed Storm, cyan candles appear inside the Shady Bazaar. Hold on each highlighted candle to activate the interaction needed for the Mysterious Shadow. Cursed Storm Totems can summon this weather condition, while an Aurora Totem also has a chance to produce it.

The first three stages focus on mutated fish. Most objectives use Catch and Return, meaning the fish must be caught and then delivered to the relevant quest giver. The mutation names are important, so check the wording of every objective before turning in a catch.

Quest 1: Blossomed and Sunken Targets

The opening stage asks for two difficult catches: a Blossomed Kraken, or Blossomed Ancient Kraken, and a Sunken Megalodon, or Sunken Ancient Megalodon. The alternative species listed for each objective can make the stage more flexible, but the required mutation still needs to match.

Return each fish after catching it rather than selling or storing it indefinitely. Keeping the quest active while fishing makes it easier to verify which target remains outstanding.

Quest 2: Soultouched and Jackpot Targets

The second stage requires a Soultouched Styx Angler and a Jackpot Shimmering Silverside. These objectives are mutation-specific and may take longer than standard species requirements. Focus on one target at a time and confirm the mutation before completing the return step.

Quest 3: Requies Scylla and Leviathan

The third stage requires a Requies Scylla and a Leviathan. The Leviathan objective can be completed with the Tranquility Rod, or with Duskwire carrying the Wobbly enchantment.

After Quest 3 is complete, the player receives access to a Restricted Noiseform. This is not yet the fully unrestricted version, so continue through the later storm and Awakened Witch objectives.

Once the third quest is finished, travel to Hawaii during a Cursed Storm. A special pool appears under those conditions. Fish in that pool with the Restricted Noiseform until you catch a Compact Disc.

The Compact Disc is a progression item rather than a normal catch for selling. Keep it in your inventory until you reach Hades’ Underworld of Indefinite, where it is used at a specific grave.

Finding the Grave

In Hades’ Underworld of Indefinite, locate the grave marked “1913 - 2013.” It should be to the left of the entrance to the Olympian Fissure. Equip or hold the Compact Disc, then hold E on the grave.

The interaction teleports you to an obstacle course. Complete the obby and speak with the Awakened Witch at the end. This conversation unlocks the final set of objectives required to remove Noiseform’s restriction.

The final quest is assigned by the Awakened Witch. It combines Glitched fish with a resource delivery requirement. The fish objectives require Glitched Potions, and the Scylla objective also requires the Ghastly mutation.

Complete the Bloop Fish objective first if you want to reduce the number of mutation targets being tracked at once. Then focus on the Glitched Translucent Scylla, checking both the Glitched and Ghastly requirements before returning the catch.

The Wisps and Dark Wisps are separate quantities. You need 70 Wisps and 50 Dark Wisps, not a combined total of 120 from either resource. After all objectives are complete, return to the Awakened Witch to receive the Corrupted Disc.

Take the Corrupted Disc back to the Mysterious Shadow at the Shady Bazaar. The Shadow uses it to fully unrestrict Noiseform.

Noiseform’s value comes from its passive package as much as its base statistics. It combines progress boosts, mutation chances, weight increases, and a reaction-based fishing mechanic.

Its listed passive effects include +15% Progress Speed, +7% forced Progress Speed, and a +22% Weight Boost. It also has a 35% chance to produce Soultorn fish with an 8.5x value and a 25% chance to produce Flowed fish with a 6.5x value.

Every catch also has a chance to create a higher-rarity Soultorn fish with a 1.85x weight boost. The Ghost passive cannot grant Limited, Gemstone, or Seed fish, so do not rely on it for those categories.

Noiseform can also trigger a zone mechanic during the fishing minigame. Three zones appear, each with a different shape. Warnings identify the correct zone, and selecting it grants progress. Selecting an incorrect zone reduces control, while active zones reduce progress loss.

A Star Beam may occur at intervals of 0–10 seconds. Arrows fall over about 2.25 seconds, beginning slowly and accelerating. Ten arrows can appear, with each arrow granting +2% progress.
